Thanks to the Act of May 10, 2018, on Supporting New Investments, entrepreneurs can benefit from public aid offered by special economic zones throughout Poland (previously, this was only possible for properties within the zone's boundaries). Investment support regulations stipulate that projects can receive public aid (entrepreneurs' exemption from income tax) after meeting legally specified criteria.

In Przasnysz County, the quantitative criteria for the required investment outlays are: PLN 40,000,000 for a large enterprise, PLN 8,000,000 for a medium-sized enterprise, PLN 2,000,000 for a small enterprise, and PLN 800,000 for a microenterprise. Entrepreneurs can benefit from public aid in this area in the form of tax exemptions (micro and small enterprises – 55% of the value of eligible expenses, medium enterprises – 45%, large enterprises – 35%).

Under the Act, the provision of public aid in the Przasnysz district is coordinated by the Warmia-Masuria Special Economic Zone based in Olsztyn.
